AI Detective is an iPhone and iPad puzzle game by Rivership, an indie studio in Tokyo. It follows the "lateral thinking puzzle" format (known in Japan as ウミガメのスープ): you get a strange situation and have to work out what happened by asking questions.
Each case has a hidden truth. You ask free-form questions and the AI answers "yes", "no" or "irrelevant". You can declare the truth at any time. The app tracks your daily streak. The cases and in-app text are in Japanese and English.

AI Detective is free to download. AI Detective Pro is a subscription with a free trial that removes the question limit per case, opens the archive of past cases and removes ads. Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
