You pick a pose card on the inner screen. The person in front of the camera sees a big pose shadow and a 3-2-1 countdown on the outer screen, so nobody has to shout instructions. Four shots join into one strip, tall or wide.
Cue Booth is an iPhone app by Rivership, an indie studio in Tokyo, made for a two-screen phone (iPhone Duo). It is for photographing friends, kids or family when you want everyone to do the same pose without explaining it.
You hold the phone and pick a pose card on the inner screen. The outer screen, facing your subject, shows the pose shadow and the countdown. After four shots, the strip is assembled and can be saved to Photos or shared. On a single-screen phone, the card is shown over the camera view with a 3, 5 or 10 second self-timer.
No account, no internet.
Cue Booth has no in-app purchases and no subscription. The price of the download is shown on the App Store.
Everything happens on your phone. Cue Booth has no account, no analytics and never connects to the internet. It only adds the finished strip to your photo library and never reads your existing photos.
